Consistency and Integrity

Here's how you know that you are operating in integrity in life.
You do and say the same things in public as you do in private.
In other words you don't change who you are to suit the situation.

I had a friend once who was one person in a closed meeting and was
another way in front of other people. Unfortunately, my friend did
not want to change. You don't have to be like that person.
A life of faith will result in consistency and integrity.
If you are teaching or preaching then your message should come
from the pure wellspring of what is hidden in the heart.
You Word, Oh God, will I hide in my heart, that I might not separate myself
from You because of sin.

Your life, conversation, actions, reactions, emotions, feelings, thoughts, decisions
and everything that is about you should springforth from the wellspring of
the treasure of God's Word that you have hidden in your heart!

Consistency and Integrity are not difficult when it flows from from such a heart's treasure.

But if a person is like Thomas Dittimus (Doubting Thomas), then things can be difficult.
Dittimus means twins. Like a double minded person he allowed other things in the treasure of his heart which produced a different type of wellspring. Twins.
Having embraced a lifestyle of being ruled by the senses, he was sensual. He was
ruled by only what he could see, feel, hear and see, yet he confessed that he had faith
in God and was moving with God's plan, purpose, vision and destiny.
Those that are ruled by the senses, that seek pleasure, thrill seekers always trying to
stir up euphoria as a course of life are defined as hedonists. Sensual in nature.
Thomas wanted to see it... he was operating out of that part of his heart.
Paranoid, fearful, worrying, not trusting, looking for things that are not there all
because of what he allowed to exist in his heart. Who have you allowed in your life
that is casting doubts on the people in your life? Who is always pushing you into thoughts of doubt, fear, paranoia, control all in the name of 'going to the next level'?
What are you looking at? Who are you listening to?
What is in your heart got there through the eye gate, ear gate, skin gate and in your mind gate! You let it into your spirit. It is there. If it were not there, then you would not
be acting like you are acting.

Out of your heart flows what is in the heart and is made real by the actions of your life.

Repent. Examine your heart. Examine your life. Don't allow people, your past, your present send messages to you. Let the Word of God be your only treasure.
Remember the words of those that God put over you.

Your covering told you what to do. Did you listen? Have you obeyed according to what
your spiritual authority has directed you? Was your spiritual authority operating in God's authority according to the way Paul said, "Follow me as I follow Christ?"

How do you know if they are following Christ? You've got to know as much about
Christ as your spiritual authority. You are not beholden to a "spiritual authority" who
themselves are not following the ultimate authority. Touch not God's annointed, but you
don't have to follow the directives of the misdirected. You don't have to be ugly to them... you can't. God will deal with them in right order. Remember, your spiritual authority is under the weight of double judgement both for themselves and for those that they are called to equip for ministry.

If, however, you know that your spiritual authority does not have issues with THE authority, then you had best perk up, listen up and do right, my friend.

Repent. Turn to God. Turn away from that which has separated you.
Who has bewitched you that has caused you to destroy relationships in your life.
You have terminated good relationships becuase of your double mindedness.
Repent. The God of restoration will restore what you have allowed to be stolen.
Make it right with those you have ostricized, rejected and thought evil.
There are good people who will only bless you. Don't live under the curse of
a double lifestyle.
God is a good God. He loves you and He wants to bless you, friend.
